Recipe – Chicken/Veggie Salad


Chicken/Veggie Salad

It's good to have cheat days, but making healthy diet a habit is imperative. Eat all you love in optimum quantity, but eat home cooked!! A salad is not only healthy but also full of taste, give it a try 🙂

  • A frying pan & bowls


For Marination :

  • 250 grams Boneless cube cut Chicken pieces
  • 1.5 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes

For Salad Dressing :

  • 2 tbsp Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Plain Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 3/4 tbsp Mustard Sauce
  • 1 tsp Oil (Olive oil or whatever available with you)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Additional Veggies :

  • 1 small Lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 small Tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup For Vegetarians (finely chopped extra veggies of your choice – capsicum, carrot, mushroom, boiled potato, etc)
  • 1/2 cup Croutons (optional)


Marination –
Take a bowl, add the chicken, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, vinegar & chilli flakes. Mix well, make sure all the chicken pieces are coated well. Set aside for 30 mins.
Salad Dressing –
Take another bowl, add the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard sauce, oil, coriander & parmesan cheese. Add salt as per taste. Mix well until you get a semi-thick paste.
After 30 mins of Marination : 
Take a frying pan, add 1 tsp of oil and put all the chicken pieces.
Fry until golden brown. Once done take it out in a plate.
Combining all ingredients together – 
In the Salad Dressing bowl, add chopped lettuce, onion & tomatoes.
Add fried chicken & for the vegetarians – add additional veggies of your choice. Add croutons.
Combine them all and mix well.
Serve & Enjoy !! 🙂
